Social Studies: We are getting to know agriculture more this week! We are learning how farmers do what they do. We have a guest speaker from the Illinois Soybean Association to talk about the many uses of soy on Thursday.

Science: Fish and More!! We are learning about the different animals that live in the sea! We are going to watch Finding Nemo on Friday so we can see the animals we are studying!

Math: "Take Off with Math" is in full swing and the kids are doing great! On top of all the multiplication we have been learning we are also hard at work on word problems! 

English: We have a test on sentences this week! Make sure everyone is studying hard!

Reading: We are on free reading. This means that they have a book report due in three weeks! Since free reading is going on we will be having chapter summary this week for each student!

Spelling: Unit test went GREAT! I’m so proud of each of you! We are starting new words this week. These are words that sound alike but are spelled differently so make sure you listen to sentences this week!
